What's Missing?

I'm in the middle of plotting my next couple of proposals, and I'm finding it hard to know quite what I want to write. I think I almost have too many choices available, if that makes sense.

So here's a question for you readers out there, especially if you read Intrigues but even if you don't. What kind of stories aren't you getting enough of these days? What would you like to see more of? Any particular romantic conflict that's not getting written? Any current event that you think would make a great suspense/mystery story? What's missing from your book buffet?

Well, this will come as no surprise but I'm really into the geeky guy/bad girl phase.

Actually, I'd like to take it a step further. See, I'd love to see a story where a bad girl tries to seduce a geeky guy but winds up...getting seduced herself.

I like stories with a western theme or those set in the west. Who doesn't love a cowboy?

Good ideas, both of you. JWIsley, you'll have to check out my September 2008 book, COWBOY ALIBI. Definitely set in the west. :)

Tripp, yeah, I do know your love for all things geek. I'll see what I can come up with for you, sooner or later.

I don't love a cowboy. (Although I will still read and most likely love your cowboy, Paula. But only because you hooked me with your trilogy.) When it comes to suspense, I just love a unique premise and something scary. I don't really care what it is.

Have you asked this question on the Intrigue blog, Paula? If not, you really should--it's a good one!

BTW, what did you think of the new Sense & Sensibility? I missed it due to work travels and a jacked-up Tivo, so I need to get the DVD.
