Chickasaw County Captive Cover

New book covers are always a crapshoot. At Harlequin, we don't have a lot of control over what goes on the cover, despite filling out fairly elaborate Art Fact Sheets.

But on this one, I think the artist did a pretty good job. Pay particular attention to the hairstyle on the hero--it has hints of "high and tight," which is appropriate, given that the hero is a retired Marine.

It's also my first "kid on the cover" cover. Hope it does well with the kid-loving readers.

But, as usual, there's something on the front that makes me scratch my head. I actually think the cobwebby attic in the background is way cool, but I really don't remember any such place appearing anywhere in my book.

Oh well.

It's a great cover, but I have to admit to missing all your rainy, wet men! LOL....

Very nice - even if it doesn't match completely :)

I suggested a great rainy, wet man scene to go with, Marianne, but they went with the scenic cover instead.

Oh, well.
