It was great! Well, except for the assassination and the car bombing--didn't like the results of those. :( But man, what an adrenaline rush. And as a writer, I stand in awe of their ability to put Jack in messes...and then when you think the worst has happened, they make it exponentially worse. I should be taking notes!
It's turning out to be another nerve-shattering season. They seem to get better every year. Last year was fantastic--my favorite to date, and I've been watching since the beginning.
I think my favorite character this season is Martha Logan. The bathroom scene with that poor fellow with the keycard pretty much sealed it for me. Go, Martha!
I'm also kind of liking Agent Hobbit (aka Lynn McGill). As my friend Jenn put it, he's the kind of guy who probably "made his way up the ladder through a combination of polite brute force and ruthless competence."
Yeah, that about fits. I wonder if he'll turn out to be what he seems or if he'll have a darker side. I kind of hope he turns out to be just what he seems--a forceful, ambitious and ruthlessly efficient agent who never forgets to mind his manners. ::g:: It makes for a unique, refreshing character.

I love Martha, too. She is so cool! Can't figure out how she ended up with President Wimp, though.
