Ain't he purty?

And the photo actually corresponds to a scene in the book, wonder of wonders. Of course, McBride wasn't wearing a t-shirt, but now I wish I'd thought of it myself!

Awesome cover Paula. You got the luck of the Irish to get such a great cover on your first try!

Can't wait to read the finished product.

Oh, my. I would be happy to help him get hot...uh...dry.

They did good. Congratulations, Paula.

I'm very excited that they got McBride right. Short cropped hair - check. Cop - check. Rough-hewn features - check. Muscular build - oh yeah, I'd say that's a check.

I love that they chose the rain scene for the background, too-- it's a very atmospheric, evocative scene, which you'll see once you buy the book (available for pre-order at all your finest online bookstores - buy now, buy often)

I must admit I'm very fond of this cover, and not just because it's my first. From a marketing standpoint, I think it's a big plus. I mean, wouldn't YOU pick up that book to see what that hot guy is doing out in the rain in a wet t-shirt?

All hail the H/S marketing folks. ;)

Thanks Bonnie. Although since I didn't actually do the artwork, I guess I shouldn't be accepting the compliments, should I?

The more I look at it, the more I love it.
