Thank you for drawing my name for Cassie Miles' December book; I've sent the email from my Gmail account. :-)
As for sports, I don't follow much in the way of any, even Canadian. And here is where I admit I really don't like hockey, which is akin to sacrilege....LOL.

Mark Ingram was so deserving, I thought. I'm sure Tide pride is running deep. ;)
Gotta tell you, though, I'm from Nebraska, so I was rooting for Ndamakong Suh. He pretty much singlehandedly beat my MIZZOU Tigers earlier this year, so I give him credit for that. Besides, I tend to root for the underdog--and since he was the only defensive player nominated, and they've only won one Heisman previously, it was a double root for Suh.
Congrats on all of Alabama's success!
Julie, I don't watch a lot of football except Alabama and other SEC teams, but I did watch the Texas/Nebraska game, and Suh was amazing. He's probably going to be the first pick in the NFL draft. I was also really, really impressed with him personally after seeing the interview with him on last night's Heisman announcement show on ESPN. Smart guy who really seems to have his head on straight. I think he's going to be wildly successful in the NFL and in life.
I enjoy college football, but I have to admit I haven't kept up with it for a couple of years. Too many health related things going on. So I don't even know who was nominated for it. I'm from Missouri so I have to cheer for Mizzou when my SIL reminds me that they are playing. Since the Chiefs have totally sucked for years, I have given up on the NFL in Missouri.
I don't follow college football at all. That's my husband's area!! I think he was pretty pleased with the selection. He's an Ole Miss fan. (I'll just be glad when all football is over!!!)
